Julia in the spotlight

On an ideal weekend, you can find me:

Shopping, gardening, eating good food, watching a movie or two, and cheering my son on in his football.

My favourite holiday destination is:

Too many to count – my most recent favourite was Costa Mujeres in Mexico!

My favourite song to play in the car is:

Anything on Heart FM.

The first album I bought was:

Now 13. Showing my age there!

When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for:

Anything chocolatey!

The three qualities that draw me to new people are:

Positive energy, kindness, and a warm smile.

My pet peeve is:

People pushing in a queue.

The best gift I’ve ever received is:

My two children.

The three people at my dream dinner party would be:

My late Nana, David Tennant, and Regé-Jean Page.

The three small things that make my day better are:

Sunshine, a happy family, and a decent cup of tea or a matcha tea latte.

Three things I haven’t done so far include:

Visited Antarctica, skydived, and got a tattoo!

Client Support

I’ve been working with Nick for almost 12 years now.

Previously, I worked as a customer support manager for a large telecoms company and then at a software company for the fashion and lifestyle sector.

At One Life, I regularly contact clients to plan and prepare their annual meetings and to set up and administer investment portfolios. I also assist with actions to help clients towards their financial planning goals and check in with them to see how everything is going.

I carry out all the investment transactions for our clients following Nick’s recommendations and the client’s own authorisation. And I chase product providers for plan information and administration of new plans, transfers, or fund transactions.

Outside of work, I’m happily married with a son and a daughter.

I love gardening, walking, keeping fit, and most of all, travelling. I’ve managed to visit six out of seven continents in the world – only Antarctica has not yet been explored!

I’m fortunate to have lived in Germany and Italy and to have travelled to many countries with family and friends. I love learning languages, and I have tried French, German, Spanish, and Italian!
